BEIIU products aim to minimise the number of actions an older person needs to learn. Frequent tasks should remain direct and clear, while family members or service staff can assist with initial setup.
05Does home monitoring always require a camera?
No. Private spaces such as bedrooms and bathrooms can use non-visual sensing, including millimetre-wave technology, without recording everyday images. The right approach depends on the room and the family’s needs.
06What is the accuracy of fall detection?
Performance depends on room layout, installation position, movement type and software version. BEIIU will not present a single context-free figure as a promise. Test conditions, false alerts and missed events will be explained before products become available.
07Can intelligent monitoring replace family, care or medical services?
No. Intelligent monitoring can support reminders, detect unusual situations and pass on information, but it does not replace medical diagnosis, professional care or emergency services.
08What information can family members see?
